Natural fat burning supplements, Garcinia cambogia for example is extracted from the tamarind fruit usually used as a condiment in Thai and Indian cuisine. Since the 70´s it has been studied for its contributions to weight loss by increasing metabolism, controlling appetite in order to reduce body fat. Serious studies to date don’t support these claims. Most of these reductions were seen in animal studies, but not in human studies.

Misleading labels are found on food boxes. When checking a box of donuts, for example, do it carefully. Look at sugar and calorie content. Taste of processed food is usually enhanced by the use of sugars and fats. When a product is low fat or no fat, probably sugar is increased. Reducing dietary fat alone without reducing calories will not help you lose weight.
